I sent her a text, it was simple: “How was your day?” Within a minute or two my phone buzzed and she had texted me back, “I had a pretty good day :) How was yours?” A few hours later I had her pinned on her back, proof basics work fast. You don’t always have to be clever when you talk to a girl, despite game hype. Sure there is a lot of talk about good openers, funny cocky witty aloof vibes when you first meet her – but regular guy questions land too.

Sometimes you can just be a regular guy with a regular job who asks simple questions without fancy tricks. When building comfort with a woman its important to remember that she wants to feel like she knows you deeply. I’ve discussed before that often times with a woman, during comfort building, it doesn’t matter what’s said – what matters is that a meaningful interaction happened between you two. Your job is to make her feel like your interactions are meaningful

This is extremely easy to do because women don’t think with their brains much (preferring, instead, to ‘feel’ with their ‘hearts’) and they are very predictable in responses. Make sure when you’re talking to her that you ask about her hopes and dreams, and then paint the picture for her that you will be there to help her achieve these things together. Listen to her when she talks to you about things that are important to her, and make her feel like you care about those things genuinely.

Make her feel like you understand her on a deep level that no one else has gotten to before; plumb new depths of her soul, so to speak. Sure you want to be witty and clever when you first meet, and you want to keep that side of you around and keep teasing her playfully, but don’t let that get in the way of you asking the occasional boring question or two for flow. These ‘boring’ questions do a great job of generating a conversation when neither party has something to talk about naturally.
